Teaching the next generation

I had the opportunity to get out on Black Friday, with my fiance & my nephew, for some quality outdoor time. We went geocaching all day, and into the dusk (we didnt make it out of the woods before dark). We made it a sort of bushcraft & geocaching day, where I taught him how to navigate with a map, how to use a slingshot properly, how to correctly use a knife, and how to make fire with a firesteel. It was a fantastic day out with my fiance & nephew-perfect weather, a fun time out in the woods, all finished off with a late lunch by the pond, and a nice evening walk in the dark.
