This is a blog about my general outdoor activities, and anything else I feel like writing about. My intention is to share my knowledge of the outdoors with others, and to learn from others' experiences as well. Feel free to post comments & suggestions.

Good idea. The Trekker AMK FAK I bought seems to have meds in it that are still good despite it being out of productive for at least four years now.
Also in reply to the GPS question. I go with the eTrex for two reasons. 1. MicroSD slot. I have a Southeast Topo card, and 2. Size. The size is perfect for me and I am big into ultralight outdoor stuff.
Good call on the GPS. Like I had stated, I had a yellow etrex years ago, but, when I tried the 60 series, I REALLY like it. They didnt come out with the cx series of the etrex until afterwards, and now, I am so used to my 60, I couldnt go back to anything else.
My AMK ultralight has meds that expire in May, but I am replacing them anyway. I have a friend who is a pharmacist, and I am going to see about getting some Advil samples.
